We are looking for co-creators of our new international deliberately developmental community in Stockholm

We are excited to invite co-creators to join our project of establishing a new international, deliberately developmental community in Stockholm. The community will function as a live-in incubator for individuals and projects, offering six-month to three year-long development programs with a rotating live-in faculty. Participants will work full-time on their projects within a supportive community that fosters both personal growth and professional development, where everyone is both a learner and a teacher based on their unique strengths and life paths. This unique community brings together tech entrepreneurs, social entrepreneurs, artists, academics, and cultural workers, offering them a collaborative living and working space infused with educational and developmental opportunities. It will be a node of emergence in the civilisational shift, where innovative ideas and personal transformation flourish in service of the greater good.

For this purpose, we have secured a wonderful lakefront property, just 15 minutes south of central Stockholm. This beautiful location, formerly part of a Christian deacon's convent, is spacious enough to accommodate around one hundred people living and working closely connected with nature.

Drawing from our rich experience of gathering a diverse international group of change-makers at the Emerge Gatherings in Berlin (2018), Kyiv (2019), Berlin (2021), and Austin (2022), operating our intentional co-living space "K9" in central Stockholm for seven years and with the support of the Inner Development Goals project, we are embarking on a new venture: the creation of a permanent learning and growing community that can serve as a node of emergence in our civilisational shift.

Our vision is to bring together 100 individuals from across the globe, representing various fields of work and expertise showcased at the Emerge Gatherings. This includes tech startups, social entrepreneurs, artists, educators, scientists, spiritual practitioners and more. We aim to live, work, and grow together in a "deliberately developmental community."

Sowing the Seeds of a New Civilization

The goal is to establish a community that nurtures personal growth and mutual support, empowering each member to contribute to society in diverse ways. To create one node of emergence among hopefully many in a global network. By fostering a collaborative environment and providing formal and informal learning journeys, we aspire to facilitate the emergence of a new civilisation that prioritises inner growth, social change, and creative expression.

Our community will be a place where individuals can thrive both personally and professionally. We believe in the power of collective intelligence and the synergy that arises from diverse perspectives coming together. Residents will have the opportunity to engage in various activities, workshops, and projects that align with their passions and expertise, creating a dynamic and vibrant atmosphere of continuous learning and development.

In addition to personal and professional growth, our community will emphasise sustainability and a deep connection with nature. The lakefront property provides an ideal setting for this, offering opportunities for outdoor activities and a tranquil environment that supports well-being and reflection.

Whether you are interested in living on-site in Stockholm or contributing remotely, we welcome you to be a part of this transformative journey. We hope to first gather a smaller group of initiators, where the first ones might be living on site all ready by end of September, co-creating a future where we thrive together and make meaningful contributions to the world.

Welcome to co-create,
