We Are Part of a Larger Ecosystem

Elevate takes place on Ekskäret Island, where we are guests of both the island and the Ekskäret Foundation.

The Ekskäret Foundation is home to a variety of inspiring initiatives, including Spark, the LakeFront Project, Inner Development Goals, Protus, the Ambassador Programme, and more. These initiatives share a common vision of fostering inner growth, collaboration, and positive societal impact.

As participants of Elevate, we honor and contribute to this larger ecosystem, becoming part of a network dedicated to meaningful transformation and connection.

What is the Ekskäret Foundation?

The Ekskäret Foundation is a Swedish non-profit organization dedicated to fostering inner growth, collective well-being, and societal transformation. It was founded on the belief that by nurturing personal development and connection, we can contribute to a more sustainable, conscious, and compassionate world.

Located on the serene Ekskäret Island in the Stockholm archipelago, the foundation provides a unique space for individuals and groups to explore transformative ideas, engage in meaningful dialogue, and co-create solutions to global challenges.

Inner Development Goals

The world is changing rapidly, and its complexity is increasing. So do we. This is why we believe it is important to cultivate the inner landscape as it creates the outer world.

Inner Development Goals is a framework which, through five dimensions, describes 23 different skills and qualities essential to our own inner development - and down the line in order to reach the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.

At Elevate aims is to give special attention and focus to the first dimension of the framework. It is called'Being - Relationship to Self' :

"Cultivating our inner life and developing and deepening our relationship to our thoughts, feelings and body help us be present, intentional and non-reactive when we face complexity".

Designed for aspiring visionaries, innovators, artists, and systems thinkers, it’s both a home and a community for you who believe that inner development fuels systemic change.

We cultivate a community and ecosystem of individuals who push boundaries—intellectually, creatively, spiritually, and others. At Emerge Lakefront we bring together people who are ready to grow - not just personally, but in service of something greater.

K9

There are a few key words at K9: ‘co-creation’ and ‘intentional’ being just two of them. Those who live in the House have intentionally chosen to co-create their lives and the life of the house with others.

We live in a fantastic co-living house in Östermalm that we share among 53 people. All rooms have a private bathroom. We are not a company, we are "self governed" and "self organized" where everyone needs to contribute in some way for our community to function and develop. We have a lot of fun together and you will develop as a person during the time you live here.

K9  governance is loosely based on the Holacracy method. Meaning that there are no leaders. The authority and decision making is shared between everyone in the house distributed through self organized teams and individual roles.

That is why we live by guidelines, rules and values that we re-evaluate from time to time, together as a community.
